Structural Technician

Job Description

Build Maintain Recruit Limited is looking for an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join a growing design and detailing team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Revit family creation, as much of our work involves developing bespoke elements to meet unique project requirements. An ability to carry out RC detailing would be highly advantageous.\n You’ll be working on a diverse range of structural projects, including reinforced concrete structures, precast and cast-in-situ elements, and other complex builds that demand precision and innovation.\n Key Responsibilities \nProduce high-quality Revit models and drawings for structural projects.

\nDevelop bespoke Revit families to support unique project requirements. \nCollaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver coordinated designs. \nContribute to the production of reinforcement detailing (RC detailing) where required.

\nMaintain drawing standards, templates, and protocols across projects. \nAssist in implementing BIM processes and workflows for efficiency and accuracy. Skills & Experience Required \nProven experience as a Revit Technician in a structural or civil engineering environment.

\nStrong capability in family creation within Revit. \nKnowledge of reinforced concrete detailing ( but not essential). \nFamiliarity with both precast and in-situ concrete construction methods.

\nAbility to read and interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications. \nExcellent attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills. \nGood communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
