Ready to move beyond a job and build a career that lasts? We're seeking direct-hire Fitter/Welders with at least two years of experience to join a premier structural steel team for their 2nd shift. What You'll Do:

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine precise fitting requirements.

• Lay out and position, and align metal components accurately, often using templates, fixtures or specialized equipment to hold them in place.

• Secure components together by hand or with clamp, bolts and tack-welding components together.

• Apply various welding processes, such as Mig, Tig or stick to join the metal parts and create finished products; Inspect fabricated components to guarantee they meet all specifications and quality standards.

• Safely use cranes and other equipment to move and position steel components throughout the shop.

• Uphold all safety protocols and contribute to a secure work environment.

What You'll Bring:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Structural Steel Fitter in a weld shop setting.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints; accurately read tape measures and rulers

• Strong understanding of fitting and alignment techniques for structural steel.

• Experience with material handling equipment, including overhead cranes.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
