We are looking for a Structural Steel Detailer/DrafterJob Summary:

As a Steel Detailer you will be responsible for preparing drawings and ensuring that format guidelines are met. This position requires strong attention to detail, planning, and advanced mathematics.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Utilize established drafting standards, file management & techniques to prepare drawings

• Meet all deadlines of project schedule requirements

• Review self-performed work for accuracy and formatting guidelines

• Design calculations, and engineering design will be used to create submittal drawings based on an assigned contract, and any submitted Architectural plans

• Check final submittal drawings on-screen to verify completeness, clarity, and accuracy

• Any other duties assigned by management

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum 1 year experience using AutoCAD or Bricscad, Microsoft Office & Adobe Reader

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Education and Experience:

• Metal Building Software (MBS) experience a plus

• Tekla software experience a plus

• Minimum 1 year experience in the Metal Building industry is
