Structural Steel Detailer – Full-Time (In-House)
Local Candidates Only | Monday–Thursday, 6 AM – 4:30 PM

We’re seeking a highly motivated Structural Steel Detailer to join a fast-paced fabrication team working on a range of exciting commercial and residential projects. This is a local, in-house position offering full-time hours and excellent benefits. If you're detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about steel design, this opportunity is for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Create 3D models and detailed fabrication and erection drawings based on architectural and structural plans
• Use Tekla Structures (or other BIM software—training provided for Tekla)
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and general contractors to achieve design goals
• Interpret design drawings and convert them into accurate shop-ready detail
• Review and revise designs based on project feedback and evolving needs
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications throughout all drawings

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in structural steel detailing (required)
• Familiarity with Tekla Structures (or SDS2, Revit, AutoCAD with willingness to learn Tekla)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A solid understanding of structural steel systems and detailing practices
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and within a team

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
