We are looking for an experienced Structural Project Engineer to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. This full-time position provides an exciting opportunity to lead both commercial and residential structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong client communication skills, overseeing projects from initial scope planning through final documentation and delivery.

Based in Tempe, this role involves managing engineering workflows, collaborating with architects, contractors, and design teams, and ensuring construction documents are precise, constructible, and meet industry standards. Projects include new builds, remodels, tenant improvements, and structural assessments of existing structures within the Tempe area.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects from kickoff to completion in Tempe.
• Prepare detailed proposals, scopes of work, and service estimates for structural consulting services.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, architects, contractors, and municipal reviewers.
• Track project budgets, timelines, deliverables, and scope modifications.
• Review structural drawings and documentation for accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
• Act as primary client liaison, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Assist with preparation and revision of structural calculations and construction documents.

Requirements
