Structural Project Engineer

• B.S. Degree in structural or civil Engineering or related field, and 5-15 years post-degree experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer , but not required
• 5-15 years of structural/civil design experience with all types of materials . Materials include: wood, concrete, masonry, and steel.
• Strong capability, experience, and knowledge in residential, commercial, and mixed-use structural design
• Technical writing skills in letters, reports, and specifications of moderate complexity with minimal guidance from supervisor.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under constrained deadlines
• Good working knowledge of engineering software Excel, RISA, AutoCAD, ENERCALC and others
• Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling techniques and interprets the results of those models.
• Ability to serve as project engineer for more complex assignments under direction of the project manager.
