We are committed to developing the next of skilled ironworkers through hands-on training and mentorship. This is an exciting opportunity to start a rewarding career.

Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Structural Ironworker Apprentice eager to learn the trade under the guidance of our Foreman and experienced crew. You will gain hands-on experience in all phases of steel erection, from rigging and bolting to equipment operation and safety protocols.

What You’ll Do:

• Hands-on Training: Work directly under the Foreman and senior crew members to learn the installation of structural red iron and metal building components.
• Blueprint Assistance: Learn to read and interpret basic plans and blueprints to locate and identify steel pieces.
• Ground Support: Assist with rigging, hoisting, and signaling operations to move steel safely across the job site.
• Assembly: Assist in the assembly process, including bolting, plumbing, and securing metal framework.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• General Labor: Perform general construction labor as needed, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• A strong eagerness to learn a demanding, skilled trade.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety is a plus.
