Structural Inspector

We are looking for energetic, inspired people just like you!
This position will provide structural inspections on job sites.
We are a team oriented office with a family feel culture. We have a diverse group of engineers, drafters, and special structural inspectors. You will have direct access to owners and project managers for mentor ship for all aspects of this position.
Structural Inspector Job Duties:
- 1. Construction site visits to observe structural building elements including but are not limited to; concrete, reinforcing, post-tensioned tendons, structural steel, wood framing, reinforced masonry and post installed anchors.
- 2. During site observations, reading construction documents to confirm constructed building structures meet project plans and specifications.
- 3. Driving to and from various construction job sites.
- 4. Walking around construction site with care to avoid holes, pits, unfinished construction, etc.
- 5. Climbing scaffolding and temporary stairs from two stories, mid and high-rise building structures.
- 6. Communicate well with engineers and contractors to communicate discrepancies and assist in finding solutions.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience performing structural inspections
- Current ICC certifications in various structural materials
