A Day in the Life

• Start by reviewing blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan your approach.
• Fabricate and assemble structural parts in steel and aluminum using MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Perform detailed inspections of completed welds to confirm accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Keep welding machines, torches, and hand tools in peak condition through routine maintenance.
• Work side-by-side with teammates to hit project milestones while upholding a safe, tidy work area.
• Follow all established safety procedures and protective practices, every step of the way.
• Join ongoing training and development to sharpen your skills and expand your knowledge base.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational welding training is a plus.
• Demonstrated welding experience, ideally with a focus on structural work.
• Strong command of welding techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings with accuracy.
• Keen attention to detail and solid problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort working independently as well as within a team environment.
• Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) but not required.
