Structural Engineer - Residential & Commercial Projects Location: Norwich (Hybrid: 3 days from home, 2 days in the office) Our client is a growing engineering consultancy based in Norwich, delivering high-quality structural design across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join a collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting schemes while enjoying a flexible hybrid working pattern with three days working from home and two days in the Norwich office. The Structural Engineer role; You will be involved in the structural design and delivery of residential and commercial buildings from concept through to construction. Working closely with architects, developers, and contractors, you will help deliver practical, efficient, and buildable engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities of this Structural Engineer position; Structural design for residential and commercial building projects Producing calculations, reports, and drawings using industry software Collaborating with architects, clients, and other consultants Supporting projects through design stages and into construction Attending site visits and project meetings when requiredAbout You Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Experience in structural design of buildings (residential and/or commercial) Working knowledge of Eurocodes and UK design standards Proficiency with structural design software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, or similar) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Working towards or already chartered (ICE/IStructE) is advantageousWhat We Offer Hybrid working: 3 days from home, 2 days in the Norwich office Competitive salary depending on experience Opportunity to work on diverse building projects Support with professional development and chartership Friendly and supportive team environmentIf you are a Structural Engineer looking to develop your career in a flexible, forward-thinking consultancy while working on meaningful building projects, we'd love to hear from you.
