Structural Engineer (PE)
Waco, TX | $90K–$120K + Bonus | Full-Time
Compensation & Benefits:
$90K–$120K base salary, year-end bonus, health benefits, PTO, and flexible work options.

A fast-growing engineering firm in Central Texas is seeking a Structural Professional Engineer (PE) to step into a leadership-track position. This role replaces a retiring Lead Engineer and offers clear growth into senior leadership as the company expands.

What You’ll Do:
Lead structural design for steel and concrete buildings.
Mentor and guide EITs and technicians.
Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and clients.
Oversee analysis, calculations, drawings, and construction documents.
Provide accurate project estimates and drive efficient design solutions.
Stay current on codes, standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s ).
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain.
5+ years of structural engineering experience with strong steel and concrete expertise.
Proficiency with structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, or similar).
Solid understanding of IBC, AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage deliverables, and mentor staff.
Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience:
Metal building systems.
Cost engineering or value-driven design.
3+ years of leadership or team management.
