Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a talented and driven Structural Engineer to join our Towson, MD team. If you have 3-8 years of experience and a strong background with tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and RISA for structural analysis/design, we want to connect with you.
At MRA, no two days are the same. You’ll work on a wide variety of exciting projects—telecommunications facilities (towers, tanks, rooftops, and more), retaining walls, and everything from mid-rise to high-rise concrete structures and multi-family developments. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, technical excellence, and forward-thinking design.
What You’ll Do
- Design, analyze, and detail structural systems using steel, masonry, concrete, and wood
- Develop construction documents and models using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)
- Perform structural analysis and modeling using RISA (RISA-3D and related tools)
- Lead or support the preparation of proposals, reports, and design concepts
- Solve complex engineering challenges with efficient, code-compliant solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects across Florida
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (PE license )
- 3 - 8 years of structural design experience in consulting or related field
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD required; experience with Revit and RISA highly
- Experience with BIM workflows and 3D structural modeling is a plus
- Solid understanding of structural analysis and design principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with attention to detail
