Structural Engineer 



Our client is a respected and growing multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, recognised for delivering high-quality structural engineering, quantity surveying, building surveying, and party wall services across the residential and commercial sectors.



Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an ambitious Structural Engineer with 3–5 years’ UK consultancy experience to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team.



The Opportunity

You will work on a diverse range of projects including high-end residential properties, refurbishments, extensions, basements, new-build developments, and commercial schemes. The role offers exposure to all stages of the design process, working closely with senior engineers, architects, developers, and private clients.



Key Responsibilities



Produce structural designs for a variety of building projects

Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports

Design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

Attend site inspections, surveys, and client meetings

Liaise with architects, contractors, and fellow consultants

Support projects from concept through to completion

Ensure all designs comply with current UK regulations and standards

Work collaboratively with senior engineers and internal teams



About You



Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering

3–5 years’ experience within a UK consultancy environment

Proven experience delivering building structures projects

Strong understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes

Proficient in structural design software

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Motivated, proactive, and eager to progress professionally
