Structural EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of building projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to develop efficient, safe, and cost-effective structural designs.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop effective structural design solutions for a variety of building projects.
- Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for structural systems.
- Create and maintain structural computer models using industry-standard software.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of structural construction drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project schedules and deadlines.
- Provide technical support throughout the design and construction process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam is required.
- Experience with structural analysis and design software.
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong technical writing skills for engineering reports and project documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Experience designing a variety of commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial structures.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and engineering standards.
