We are a structural steel fabrication and erection company. I need someone to lead a project management division and mentor professionals in the job duties. I would like a structural engineer as most of the "problems" we face are just lack of industry knowledge. Position would be responsible for projects post sale. This would include oversite of project submittals, maintaining critical dates of projects, job site visits and meetings. Applicant would need to be a self starter, knowledgeable in the construction trades and outspoken in regards to communicating with customers. This position wouldnt include any actual engineering but use your engineering skillset to help us build up our team. Duties

• Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project schedules and coordinate resources to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee compliance with contractual obligations.
• Utilize project management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for tracking progress and documentation.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular meetings with team members to provide updates on project status and address any issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards on all job sites.
• Facilitate effective communication between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Strong skills in project coordination.
• Excellent time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in project scheduling techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with software applications such as ProCore and Bluebeam
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
