Structural Engineer

Portland, OR 97201 (Northwest U.S. or Canada required)

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering (Structural )
• EIT required
• 2+ years structural engineering experience
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC
• Experience with steel & concrete design
• Strong communication skills

• MS in Structural/Civil Engineering
• Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, structural analysis software
• Industrial or manufacturing facility experience

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis & design
• Apply building codes (wind, seismic)
• Prepare calculations & review designs
• Support drawings, models, and documentation
• Work with engineers, designers, and project teams
• Manage workload, meet deadlines, ensure quality

• Must live in: AK, ID, MT, OR, WA, WY, or Canada
• ~10% travel
