Structural Engineer (Downtown, basically where the 3 rivers meet)
Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement
$100k – $140, Bonuses, Full benefits, Hybrid (2 days in office and flexible) 401k match, tuition reimbursement, etc.
THE CLIENT
This particular client is a small- mid-sized firm who have been around for >100 years and work on a variety of projects including: Mission Critical/ Data Centers, Hospitals, Co-, Microgrids, Warehouse, and Office.
OVERVIEW
The Structural Engineer will create high quality designs for a variety of clients/ projects. The ideal Candidate will work on Foundation Systems: Steel, Concrete, and Timber Framing Systems; Architectural Systems, Forensic Analysis, and Site Engineering. The Design could involve a variety of structures from simple wood framing to more complex steel reinforced concrete for high-rise buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIRED/ HIGHLY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering
• PE
• Local and building codes and design practices (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC)
• Design and detailing of steel, wood, concrete and masonry structures
• AutoCAD, Revit, RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, STAADPro
• Develop specifications for projects and review shop drawings
• Visit project sites, client visits
