Project Structural Engineer – Philadelphia, PA
A well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join its Philadelphia office. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with building design experience who is looking to manage projects and work on a wide variety of commercial, institutional, industrial, and public-sector projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
- 5+ years of structural building design experience
- PE license (or actively pursuing)
- Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed steel design
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software such as RAM, STAAD, or ENERCALC
- Strong project management, communication, and client coordination skills
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural systems for new and existing buildings
- Lead projects from design through construction support
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project teams
- Perform site visits, structural assessments, and inspections as needed
- Mentor junior engineers and help deliver projects on schedule and within budget
