Role Description This full-time Structural Engineer role is an on-site position based in Pasadena, CA. The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and design for building and infrastructure projects, including preparing calculations and design documentation. Daily tasks include working with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to develop structural plans and details, reviewing drawings for accuracy, and coordinating with project managers, architects, and other engineers. The role involves evaluating materials and structural systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards, and providing technical support during construction. The Structural Engineer will also assist in preparing reports, responding to RFIs, and participating in project meetings to support timely and quality project delivery.\n

- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply principles to building and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and performing detailed engineering calculations to support safe and efficient designs.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating, reviewing, and updating structural drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field); advanced degree or professional coursework is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and materials, and ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in an on-site team environment.
- Progress toward, or possession of, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is .
- Experience with structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, or similar) and familiarity with construction practices is beneficial.
