Structural Engineer - P.E.
Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Salary: $120K-$160K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structural systems. The position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems in compliance with local and codes.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Participate in forensic investigations to assess structural failures and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the relevant state.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for structural design.
• Strong understanding of building codes, structural analysis, and materials.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in commercial, municipal, and industrial projects is a plus.
