Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant structural engineering experience (internships included)
  • Experience designing and detailing structural systems for steel, concrete (post-tensioning experience ), masonry, and wood structures
  • Ability to manage project budgets and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with team members, consultants, and clients
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Working knowledge of BIM and experience with Revit ()
  • Familiarity with structural analysis and design software such as RAM Suite, Bentley Suite, RISA, Adapt PT, Enercalc, Hilti Profis, etc.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Outlook, time-reporting tools)
  • Some travel throughout the Midwest would be required.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license
