Job DescriptionStructural / Temporary Works Design Engineer Maidstone | Up to £50,000 | Hybrid Working Are you a Structural Engineer with experience in Temporary Works? Looking to work on challenging construction projects while progressing toward Chartership? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Maidstone. What You'll Be Doing You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of temporary works solutions across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include: ✔ Designing temporary works structures – propping, shoring, scaffolding and excavation support ✔ Producing structural calculations and reports in accordance with Eurocodes ✔ Preparing technical drawings and design details using AutoCAD or similar software ✔ Collaborating with contractors, project managers and site teams ✔ Attending site visits and inspections when required ✔ Supporting design reviews and project coordination What We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you have: A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Around 3–6 years’ experience in structural or temporary works design Knowledge of Eurocodes and BS5975 Temporary Works procedures Experience with structural analysis and CAD software Working toward Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE) (desirable) What You'll Get Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience Hybrid / flexible working Support toward Chartership 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Professional development and training Interested?
