Structural Engineer Romford RM2 £35k-£42k Do you have a minimum of 2 years of UK based structural design experience and live within sensible commuting distance of Romford? Small family run structural design consultancy are seeking a graduate structural engineer with a minimum of 2 years of UK buildings design experience and no current or future visa requirements to join their practice. Autocad capability is also essential. The firm work mainly in the residential sector, although projects are very varied, ranging from small extensions up to larger scale apartment developments up to £20m in value. They have big name clients including betting shops, breweries and property developers - work is spread nationwide. Parking is available and the practice is a 5 minute walk from the station. The office environment is very relaxed, they have very low staff turnover. You will be taking responsibility for all aspects of projects, attending site, meeting with clients and architects - it is very much a busy and active role. You should have good practical buildings knowledge as well as structural refurbishment experience. Site experience is desirable, as is having an architectural flare.
