Graduate Structural Engineer (2+ Years' Experience)\n Location: Leicester\n Sector: Residential & Commercial Buildings\n Job Type: Full-time\n\nAbout the Role\n We are looking for a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer with around two years of industry experience to join a growing consultancy in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to develop their career while working on a variety of residential and commercial building projects, ranging from small-scale developments to larger multi-storey schemes.\n\nYou will work closely with senior engineers and project teams, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the design process, from concept design through to construction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist in the design and analysis of structural elements for residential and commercial developments.\nPrepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports.\nSupport senior engineers in delivering projects from concept through to detailed design.\nCoordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants.\nAttend site visits and assist with inspections when required.\nEnsure designs comply with relevant UK codes and industry standards.Requirements\n\nDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).\nApproximately 2 years' experience in a structural engineering consultancy.\nExperience working on residential and/or commercial building structures.\nFamiliarity with structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit is desirable.\nUnderstanding of UK design standards (Eurocodes and British Standards).\nStrong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.What We Offer\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nOngoing training and professional development support.\nStructured mentoring toward Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE).\nExposure to a wide range of building projects.\nSupportive and collaborative working environment.Apply\n If you are a driven Graduate Structural Engineer looking to continue developing your skills within a supportive consultancy environment, we would love to hear from you.
