Job Description
Structural Engineer\n\nLocation: Leeds\n\nWe’re working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Leeds who are looking to add a Structural Engineer to their growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, technically strong practice with a varied project portfolio across the UK.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Structural Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of a range of building structures, working closely with senior engineers, technicians, and clients. Projects span residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nStructural design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry\n\nProducing calculations and technical reports\n\nSupporting project delivery from concept through to construction\n\nLiaising with architects, contractors, and other consultants\n\nEnsuring designs comply with current UK standards and regulations\n\nAbout You\n\nDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering\n\n3+ years’ UK consultancy experience (flexible for the right candidate)\n\nWorking knowledge of Eurocodes and UK building regulations\n\nExperience with design software such as Tekla, TEDDS, Robot, or similar\n\nProgress toward Chartership (ICE or IStructE) is highly desirable\n\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\nCompetitive salary, dependent on experience\n\nClear progression and chartership support\n\nHybrid working options\n\nFriendly, close-knit team environment\n\nExposure to a diverse and interesting project portfolio
