We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Engineer to join our team. The Staff Engineer will be responsible for various stages of construction and design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and possess excellent technical writing skills. Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, AutoCAD and other engineering software.
- Knowledge and Understanding of Florida building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent technical writing abilities for project documentation.
- Strong communication ability for preparing reports, letters and email correspondence.
- Knowledge and experience with construction documents, contractors' contracts and pay applications.
- Engineering calculations for structural design.

**Duties:**

- Prepare engineering reports related to forensic investigations.
- Utilize AutoCAD and engineering programs to create detailed drawings, calculations and schematics for engineering projects.
- Prepare technical repair specifications and drawings for structural repairs.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports for clients and contractors during construction phase of projects.
