We are headquartered in Carlsbad, CA, with regional offices and project locations nationwide, including a growing Engineering Department in our Jacksonville, FL office. RQ is a privately held, full-service design-build firm, specializing in fast-track commercial construction for the Department of Defense, and offering comprehensive solutions that integrate design, engineering, and construction under one roof.

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Structural Engineer, you'll spend most of your time creating structural models and design drawings, working alongside a team of talented Engineers and Designers on multiple projects at a time.

To succeed in this position, you will need the following education and experience:

  • A BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is the minimum formal education required for this position
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required.
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in structural engineering design.
  • Specific software literacy required: Revit/Autodesk, RISA Floor, RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, TEDDS, MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Travel to jobsites, as needed, is required.
