Role: Structural Engineer Location: Taunton Salary: £32,000 to £47,000 Ref: MAR128 We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in their Taunton office. The Structural Engineer would be working on a range of projects, however, primarily in the Residential sector and will be rewarded with a range of excellent benefits and a salary of up to £47,000, maybe more for an exceptional candidate. This is a new role that has arisen from the result of new business and an Engineer leaving to go traveling, they have a very low turnover of staff. The Structural Engineer will have development potential as the company grow across all offices so there is a clear line to Principal and Associate positions This opportunity will support a candidate to Chartership with the ICE or ISTructE Structural Engineer Salary & Benefits: * Salary up to £47,000 DOE * Paid Membership fees * Company pension 3% Employee 5% Employer * Career progression * Flexible benefits package * Enhanced Family policies * 25 days' holiday BH * Bonus scheme (based on company and personal performance) Structural Engineer Job Requirements: * A BEng or MEng Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design and be a member of the relevant body such as the IStructE * Up to 3 years' experience within a UK Consultancy * Experience TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS * Ability to design to British Standards or Eurocode * Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures is essential * Experience across several sectors - Commercial, educational, residential, health and leisure * Experience of conceptual design, project management including programming works Structural Engineer Job Overview: * Working on a range of commercial, educational, residential, health and leisure sectors * Attending Client Meetings * Scheme Design * Work on all aspects of projects, from conceptual scheme design to construction on site. * Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams. * Model and design using cutting-edge software. * Write reports and liaise with contractors and clients. * Receive on-the-job training and mentoring from industry-leading professionals.
