- Participates in the development of project design concepts and criteria
- Makes recommendations on project staffing
- Analyzes complex design problems requiring development of new or improved techniques or procedures
- Consults with construction personnel on design constructability
- Monitors project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget
- Provides input on proposals and engages with proposal teams and managers
- Represents projects at meetings and conferences
- May plan, organize, and supervise design engineering activities for a project of significant size and complexity (e.g., integration of two or more engineering disciplines), or two or more projects of moderate size and complexity
- May provide direction and supervision to lower-level team members

Requirements

- 4-year engineering degree required
- Typically 5-11 years of related experience
- Professional registration (PE) required at this level
- Must be cognizant of the capabilities and limitations of various computer software packages and automated engineering/design equipment to effectively direct their use across diverse engineering assignments
- Must have revit experience
