Job Description
An exceptional opportunity is available for a Structural Engineer in Derby. This role will open up the opportunity for you to work alongside some exceptional talent and be involved in the structural design and technical delivery on a fantastic range of projects across the buildings structures sector.\n\nThe role of Structural Engineer is ideally suited to a structural engineer who has gained prior experience associated with the "built-environment" and who is ideally passionate to continue in their growth and development progressing towards becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer.\n\nThis is an excellent time to be joining their highly skilled Structures Team. With new and exciting projects recently procured for Clients throughout the East Midlands and United Kingdom, you can expect to work on design schemes across education, health, industrial, commercial and housing.
Designs range predominantly from large scale projects through to smaller housing schemes and range in construction value from £250,000 to £45M. Many projects are undertaken to BIM level 2.\n\nQualifications / Skills\n\nThe successful applicant will possess strong analytical skills and be qualified to Bachelor or Master degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering (or other relevant subject).\n\nPersonal attributes are vital and the successful candidate will need to possess a strong team work ethic but also be self motivated to work individually and assist with the management of less experienced members of the team.\n\nSoftware wise AutoCAD, TEDDS and preferably TEKLA are softwares that will be used on a daily basis.\n\nWith an extensive benefits package and a real belief in investing in their staff this is an excellent opportunity to join my Client, Hybrid working arrangements (post probation period) and flexible working hours are offered with this role along with a comprehensive benefits package.\n\nTo apply for this role please send a copy of your CV to Simone Bacciocchi at Vincera Consulting by following the link
