Structural Engineer\n\nLondon | Hybrid Working\n£40,000 - £50,000\n\nWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded structural engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer with 3-5 years' experience to join its growing London office.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and technically focused engineering practice delivering a diverse range of building structures projects across the residential, commercial, education, healthcare, leisure and mixed-use sectors.\n\nWith a strong pipeline of work and continued investment in its people, the business offers engineers the opportunity to take on meaningful project responsibility, develop their technical expertise and progress their careers within a supportive environment.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a wide variety of projects from concept through to completion. Working alongside experienced Chartered Engineers, you will contribute to the development of practical, innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions while gaining exposure to all stages of project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nStructural design of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber structures.\nPreparation of design calculations, technical reports and specifications.\nAssisting in the delivery of projects from concept design through to construction.\nCoordinating with architects, contractors, developers and multidisciplinary design teams.\nUndertaking site visits, structural inspections and technical assessments.\nReviewing drawings and ensuring compliance with current regulations and design standards.\nSupporting project delivery and programme coordination.\nWorking within BIM and 3D modelling environments where required.\n\nAbout You\n\nDegree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng).\n3-5 years' experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy.\nExperience designing building structures across a variety of sectors.\nGood working knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards.\nProficiency with structural analysis and design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, MasterSeries, Robot or similar.\nExperience using AutoCAD, with Revit/BIM experience beneficial.\nStrong communication and organisational skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nProgress towards IStructE or ICE Chartership would be advantageous.\n\nWhat's On Offer\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nHybrid working arrangement.\nExposure to a diverse portfolio of technically interesting projects.\nStructured professional development and Chartership support.\nClear opportunities for career progression.\nSupportive and collaborative working environment.\nOngoing technical training and mentoring from experienced engineers.This opportunity would suit an ambitious Structural Engineer seeking greater project exposure, technical development and long-term career progression within a respected consultancy environment
