Job Description
Structural Engineer\n\nLocation: London\n\nSalary: Competitive \n\nWe are currently working in partnership with a well-established, multidisciplinary design consultancy based in London that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer as part of its continued growth.\n\nOur client is a respected regional practice delivering geotechnical & structural engineering, building services and project management across a wide range of sectors. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a collaborative, technically focused culture, they offer an excellent environment for career progression.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be given genuine responsibility and exposure to projects from concept through to completion, working closely with in-house architects, civil engineers and external stakeholders.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nStructural design in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry\n\nProducing calculations, drawings and technical reports\n\nCoordinating with internal multidisciplinary teams\n\nAttending client meetings and site visits\n\nSupporting junior engineers (depending on level)\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are keen to speak with Structural Engineers who have:\n\n2–6+ years’ experience within a UK consultancy environment\n\nA degree in Civil or Structural Engineering\n\nExperience designing building structures\n\nStrong working knowledge of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations\n\nExperience using software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, ETABS, Robot or similar\n\nAmbition to achieve Chartership (ICE or IStructE), if not already chartered\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\nCompetitive salary reflective of experience\n\nClear career progression within a growing multidisciplinary business\n\nStructured Chartership support\n\nVaried and technically interesting project portfolio\n\nFlexible working arrangements\n\nSupportive, collaborative team culture\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer looking to join a stable, forward-thinking consultancy where career development is genuinely supported
