PTAC Engineering is searching for skilled Engineers to contribute to the enhancement and expansion of our team. Your role will be to lead the Engineer of Record efforts mostly with precast/prestressed concrete structures as well as other miscellaneous materials. This will include leading the design and drafting efforts, permitting, lateral analysis, foundation design, concrete, structural steel and masonry design as well as the associated project management.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or masters degree from an Accredited University in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Experience
- 6+ years of Structural Engineering experience (must include foundation design)
- PE License required
- SE License
Software Skills
- MS Office
- MathCAD
- Structural Analysis or Finite Element Analysis Software (RISA 3D )
- Risa Foundations or CSI SAFE
- 3D modeling software (Revit )
Job Duties
- Independently complete design of structures
- Independently complete design of lateral systems
- Preparing Specifications
- Coordinate Drafting Efforts
- Coordinate Permitting Efforts
- Effectively facilitate external coordination with other members of design team and owners, etc.
- Internal coordination with drafting, engineering, and BIM departments
- Construction Administration including review of submittals, issuing and reviewing RFIs
