Structural Engineer in Coventry, West Midlands

Structural Engineer now required to join a leading contractor with a focus on new buildings in the Education, Healthcare space. They are looking for a Structural Engineer who is looking to grow within their company, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, sustainable construction solutions.

As a Structural Engineer you will be:

Designing and analysing structural steel and timber systems
Carrying out feasibility studies and site inspections, assessing structural integrity
Collaborating with a range of stakeholders to develop design concepts
Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents
Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards
Performing calculations and simulations to evaluate load-bearing capacitiesWe are looking for Structural Engineer with:

Qualified degree level in Structural or Civil Engineering
Proven experience as a Structural Engineer with expertise primarily in steel concrete and timber structures
Good knowledge of British standards and/or Eurocodes
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Professional accreditation with IStructE or ICE would be of particular benefitWhat's in it for you?
