Job Description

Structural Engineer now required to join a leading contractor with a focus on new buildings in the Education, Healthcare space. They are looking for a Structural Engineer who is looking to grow within their company, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, sustainable construction solutions.

As a Structural Engineer you will be:

• Designing and analysing structural steel and timber systems

\n

• Carrying out feasibility studies and site inspections, assessing structural integrity

\n

• Collaborating with a range of stakeholders to develop design concepts

\n

• Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents

\n

• Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards

\n

• Performing calculations and simulations to evaluate load-bearing capacities

\n

\n

We are looking for Structural Engineer with:

\n

\n
• Qualified degree level in Structural or Civil Engineering

\n

• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer with expertise primarily in steel concrete and timber structures

\n

• Good knowledge of British standards and/or Eurocodes

\n

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

\n

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

\n

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

\n

• Professional accreditation with IStructE or ICE would be of particular benefit

\n

\n
