Structural Engineer | Structural Steel & Complex Engineering

Location: Bournemouth (Hybrid options available)

Industry: Structural Steelwork, Design & Build, Engineering

Compensation: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide structural engineering expertise across multiple project teams
  • Deliver steelwork designs, connection design, temporary works and buildability solutions
  • Work collaboratively with internal design, construction, and project teams
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, clients, and external engineering consultants
  • Ensure technical excellence, compliance, and high-quality engineering output
  • Support ongoing project delivery across a wide range of engineering sectors


Requirements:

  • Qualified Structural Engineer, Chartered or actively working towards Chartership
  • Proven experience in structural steelwork design
  • Experience in connection design, temporary works, and multi-disciplinary coordination
  • Background in buildings, bridges, oil & gas, heavy structures, or similar sectors
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work effectively within diverse engineering teams
