Job Description Job Description Structural Engineer Structural Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineering professionals. Key Responsibilities Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other structures Prepare detailed engineering plans and specifications using Tekla and CAD software Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success Utilize structural analysis software to optimize designs and ensure safety standards are met Review and approve shop drawings and submittals related to structural components Implement BIM modeling and 4D sequencing strategies to enhance project efficiency Qualifications Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license is required Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Proven experience as a Structural Engineer Proficiency in Tekla and Bluebeam software Familiarity with CAD and BIM modeling tools Experience with structural analysis and design principles Knowledge of steel fabrication, erecting, and construction practices EIT certification and familiarity with 4D sequencing is a plus Benefits 10 days paid PTO 7 Federal Holidays, Project Bonus, Employee covered Health, Vision, and Dental - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
