Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer - Subcontractor Experience Required

Location: London

Contract: 10 hours/day, 5 days a week (onsite/office)

Rate: dependant on experience



We are recruiting for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a busy subcontractor environment, working on complex structural steel and temporary works designs. This is a hands-on role for a qualified engineer with a strong track record in delivering practical, buildable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:



Design of structural steel, including steel-to-steel and steel-to-concrete connections, and integrating new steel to existing structures

Temporary works design - RMD or structural steel-based solutions

Reinforcement design for concrete elements

Working closely with site teams and fabricators to provide practical, cost-effective solutions

Ensuring designs comply with current standards, codes, and safety requirementsRequirements:



Qualified Structural Engineer (degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering)

Minimum 5 years' experience working for a subcontractor

Proven expertise in steelwork and temporary works design

Strong understanding of structural principles and detailing

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced contractor environmentTo Apply:
