We are exclusively working with a fast-growing and highly respected structural engineering consultancy specialising in timber design. Established nearly 2 years ago, this dynamic firm has quickly earned a reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

As demand for their expertise grows, they are now seeking a Structural Engineer to join their small but highly skilled team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative engineering projects while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote role.

As a Structural Engineer, you will:

\n

    \n
  • Deliver structural design solutions for timber projects, ensuring compliance with UK standards and client specifications.
  • \n

  • Produce accurate technical drawings and calculations using AutoCAD and specialist timber software (i.e. MasterSeries, iCalc).
  • \n

  • Work collaboratively with the Managing Director and Senior Engineer to meet tight project deadlines.
  • \n

  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure designs are practical, build-able, and aligned with project requirements.
  • \n

We are looking for:

\n

    \n
  • A minimum of 3 year's experience working with timber structures in a structural engineering role.
  • \n

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of timber design software (MasterSeries, iCalc desirable).
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and Eurocodes.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a small, remote-working team.
  • \n
