Structural Engineer
Location: Brosgrove
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time | Compressed Week: Mon–Thurs 8:30–5:30, Fri 8:30–1
Experience: 3+ years post-qualification
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join a growing structural team within a dynamic consultancy environment. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is keen to take ownership of designs and contribute to a variety of residential and commercial projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out site visits, surveys, and client meetings to collect data for reports and structural designs.
*
Preparing structural reports, calculations, and specifications in line with project requirements.
*
Working closely with Senior Engineers for guidance and mentoring.
*
Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to interpret design needs and resolve technical issues.
*
Providing clear design information and sketches to Technicians for drafting.
*
Reviewing drawings to ensure alignment with engineering calculations.
*
Coordinating with relevant teams to arrange further geotechnical investigations when required.
*
Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work across all assigned tasks.
*
Assisting with follow-ups on project leads, quotations, and invoices when requested.
*
Supporting and mentoring junior team members as needed.
Ideal Candidate
*
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in structural engineering ().
*
Familiarity with software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, and Idea Statica (training available).
*
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
*
Organised, with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
