Structural Engineer
We are looking for a talented Structural Design Engineer to join our team. Willing to consider all levels of experience from a minimum of 3 years' UK experience, through to senior.
About the Role:
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering a variety of projects. You’ll collaborate with our experienced team, contributing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to develop innovative and efficient structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural analysis and design for a range of projects
- Utilising Tekla Structural Designer to produce accurate and efficient models
- Conducting structural surveys and preparing reports on findings
- Working collaboratively with clients, architects, and other engineers
- Ensuring designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
- Assisting in project coordination and reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years UK structural design experience.
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Understanding of building codes and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Have good communication abilities for speaking with clients, answering calls and attending site meetings
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Have good experience and/or qualifications of Autodesk AutoCAD
The following would be advantageous but not mandatory:
- Have experience of Autodesk Revit
- Have a full UK driving licence.
- Experience in structural surveying and report preparation.

This position is based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. You must be capable of commuting to this office at least three days a week, start time 8:30am, or happy to relocate to the North East for the job.
