Structural Engineer

We are looking for a talented Structural Design Engineer to join our team. Willing to consider all levels of experience from a minimum of 3 years' UK experience, through to senior.

About the Role:

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering a variety of projects. You’ll collaborate with our experienced team, contributing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to develop innovative and efficient structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural analysis and design for a range of projects
• Utilising Tekla Structural Designer to produce accurate and efficient models
• Conducting structural surveys and preparing reports on findings
• Working collaboratively with clients, architects, and other engineers
• Ensuring designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
• Assisting in project coordination and reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years UK structural design experience.
• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Understanding of building codes and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Have good communication abilities for speaking with clients, answering calls and attending site meetings
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Have good experience and/or qualifications of Autodesk AutoCAD

The following would be advantageous but not mandatory:

• Have experience of Autodesk Revit
• Have a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in structural surveying and report preparation.

This position is based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. You must be capable of commuting to this office at least three days a week, start time 8:30am, or happy to relocate to the North East for the job.
