Structural Engineer - Subcontractor Experience Required\n Location: London\n Contract: 10 hours/day, 5 days a week (onsite/office)\n Rate: dependant on experience\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a busy subcontractor environment, working on complex structural steel and temporary works designs. This is a hands-on role for a qualified engineer with a strong track record in delivering practical, buildable solutions.\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nDesign of structural steel, including steel-to-steel and steel-to-concrete connections, and integrating new steel to existing structures\nTemporary works design - RMD or structural steel-based solutions\nReinforcement design for concrete elements\nWorking closely with site teams and fabricators to provide practical, cost-effective solutions\nEnsuring designs comply with current standards, codes, and safety requirementsRequirements:\n\nQualified Structural Engineer (degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering)\nMinimum 5 years' experience working for a subcontractor\nProven expertise in steelwork and temporary works design\nStrong understanding of structural principles and detailing\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced contractor environmentTo Apply:\n If you have the experience outlined above and are looking for your next contract role, please apply with an updated CV
