Structural Engineer
Offshore Structural Engineer (6–24 months experience) Location: London or Bristol (Hybrid) Are you an early-career engineer looking to develop your skills in offshore wind? I'm looking for a motivated Offshore Structural Engineer to join a growing team, working on the design of offshore substations and wind turbine foundations. What You’ll Do: Assist in the design and analysis of secondary steel structures (e.g. platforms, boat landings, ladders). Work with experienced engineers using tools like Ansys and the Sesam suite. Support the development of design reports, calculations, and 2D drawings. Contribute to structural assessments including ULS, FLS, and wave loading. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including CAD, FEA, and electrical engineers. Learn to manage your own scope of work and communicate directly with clients and stakeholders. What I'm Looking For: 6–24 months experience in structural or mechanical engineering (offshore/marine/renewables is a bonus). A degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline. Enthusiasm to learn industry-standard software and design methods. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Basic understanding of structural analysis and relevant design codes (e.g. Eurocodes, DNV).
