Middleton Structural & Design is looking for a fully remote structural engineer (although we do prefer a Florida ) whom would typically work on designing, analyzing, drafting and business of residential and commercial structures. Must be a US and reside in the United States. Here's a general outline of the role:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Analysis: Use AutoCAD and structural analysis (Risa and Enercalc) tools to create and evaluate designs, along with hand calculations.
- The applicant must be proficient in vertical, lateral (to include flood analysis), and foundation analysis.
- The engineer must be proficient in steel, concrete, wood and masonry designs and codes.
- Compliance: Ensure designs meet building codes, safety standards, and regulations for and local ordinances.
- Collaboration: Work with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs.
- Problem-Solving: Address issues related to structural integrity or unexpected challenges during construction.
- Business : The ability to generate business, network and market Middleton Structural & Design throughout the southeast region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
- Proficiency in CAD and structural analysis software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience in Business
- US and reside in US.
Skills
- Experience with remote collaboration tools, such as google meet, zoom, etc.
- Familiarity with business tools and techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
