If you have what it takes, we want you to join us! Job Description We are currently searching for a Structural Engineer in our Calgary office. You will become an integral part of the Structural Group and will be responsible for undertaking projects focused on water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:• Supporting the structural team in analysis, design, evaluation and preparation of calculations and drawings. • Preparing technical reports following inspections, technical analysis, modelling, and design calculations.• Preparing proposals, bid and contract documentation.• Monitoring, controlling, and reporting project status internally and externally. • Aiding in financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation. Job Requirements What you will bring:• An undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. • Registered, or eligible for registration with APEGA.• 3+ years’ progressive experience in Structural Engineering.• Technical expertise in the design and construction of concrete water retaining structures is an asset. • Experience with SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE software is an asset. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to effectively manage project budget and schedule. • Planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure. • Committed team player and highly self-motivated. • This position will require occasional travel. • Valid driver’s license.
