Structural Detailer/Designer in Allentown

Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of structural plans and files, including but not limited to foundation plans, framing plans and associated details
• Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule; review drawings for completeness and accuracy
• Coordinate project requirements with team members and provide assistance when necessary to complete required tasks
• Organize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project related information in logical & well-structured manner
• Field surveys and preparation of existing conditions plans/sections

Qualifications:

• Assoc. Degree from a technical institute or college in Civil or Structural Engineering
• EIT but not required
• At least two years’ experience in the design of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings
• Skills in analyzing and designing structures consisting of wood, masonry, concrete or steel and preparing structural construction documents
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficient in REVIT
• Proficient in utilizing structural design programs
• Ability to work on a team and/or independently
• Ability to travel occasionally
• Ability to interpret occasionally
• Ability to interpret advanced construction documents
