Genesis Technical is seeking a Sr. Structural Designer with Industrial experience for a contract to direct opportunity in Mobile, Al or Baton Rouge LA Rate of pay depends on experience
Skills & Qualifications:
Computer Aided Drafting / Design Certification (CADD) and/or relevant work experience; AutoCAD or other CAD software
- CADWORX 3D software and NAVISWORKS viewer experience preferred
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Teamwork, flexibility, integrity and a high degree of professionalism are required
- Attention to details
- Must have valid driver’s license and suitable driving record that is able to meet company driver requirements and be able to obtain, if necessary, a TWIC card
- Experience working with other disciplines and understanding their interface requirements.
- Experience with the design and/or construction of plants desirable.
- Organized, goal-driven and self-motivated
- Keen safety awareness
- Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and processes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to high quality
- Must be prompt, dependable, and have a good attendance record.
- Must be able to pass an approved background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Must participate in random drug tests.
