Your Mission: Help shape commercial and industrial infrastructure through expert design and analysis of steel joists. Align your craft with industry standards and customer expectations, supporting our vibrant manufacturing and sales teams.
Your Role Includes:
- Masterfully designing open web steel bar joists in synchronicity with SJI standards.
- Conducting precise structural analysis using top-tier engineering software alongside manual evaluations.
- Collaborating across drafting, production, and project teams to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
- Interpreting architectural blueprints to define design criteria.
- Offering stellar technical guidance to internal teams and clientele.
- Upholding and exceeding engineering codes, standards, and safety protocols.
What Brings You Here:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree adds an extra edge!
- Your PE license, or efforts towards obtaining one, are commendable.
- A minimum three-year journey in steel joist design.
- Fluency with structural analysis tools such as RISA, SAP2000, and STAAD.
- Deep knowledge of AISC and SJI benchmarks.
