Structural Design Engineer

Arlington, TX

The qualified candidate should have 3 plus years of relevant post-graduate experience performing structural design of commercial buildings. Duties will include analysis and design of framing and foundations, supervising production of construction documents, coordination with clients, shop drawing review, and construction site visits. Engineering materials will include structural steel, light gage steel, concrete, wood, and CMU. Experience with Revit modeling is a plus. Candidates must also possess strong analytical skills, be familiar with structural modeling software (such as STAAD/Pro or RISA), be familiar with spreadsheet design software (Microsoft Excel, Enercalc) and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. A BS in Structural Engineering is required. MS in Structural Engineering is . Registration as a PE is required.
