Overview: A&Z has an immediate opening for a dynamic Structural / Bridge Engineer in our growing Engineering Department. The role is in Fort Wayne, and/or in Valparaiso, IN with the opportunity for remote/hybrid work. You will be part of our rapidly growing civil/infrastructure design department, which includes structural, MOT, civil, drainage, roadway, and traffic projects.

We are seeking an individual who has the ability to make decisions and work individually or work with a team. This position also allows this individual to grow professionally or as a person. The successful candidate must have the knowledge and experience to design small structures/bridges in Indian. This position has the full support of the Board of Director to make the Valparaiso office succussed with projects and staff growth.

**This job is located in Valparaiso, IN. Candidates need to be willing to commute or relocate to Valparaiso, IN. Hybrid work-from-home is available and will be discussed, but candidates will be expected to report to the office multiple days per week. **

We are seeking an individual that also has the abilities to lead a team of designers with the development of plans, specifications, analyses, evaluations, maps, procedures, and reports. The successful candidate must understand the principles of drainage and bridge design and presents examples of previous experience.

A&Z’s principle is to operate based on projects and stay profitable by monitoring budget versus project progress.

Qualifications

Required:

o A minimum of 10+ years of experience

o Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

o State-licensed and certified professional civil engineer (PE) in State of Indiana
